Shinobi MMA Fighting Championships is proud to announce that a heavyweight featuring Tom Aspinall vs Owain Gywn will serve as the Co-Main Event for Shinobi War II. A previously announced welterweight clash between Chris Senior and Jai Herbert has been installed as the Main Event. Tom Aspinall fights out of Team Kaobon in Liverpool. Tom holds an impressive 8-0 record and is considered by many to be a genuine prospect. In Tom's last bout he knocked out Tom Bankevics in 17 seconds to claim the FCC Heavyweight Title. Owain Gywn fights out of KGB in South Wales. He too has never tasted defeat and holds a 4-0 record. All of Owain's victories have come inside the first round and in his last bout he defeated Romek Sim via submission.
Ste Passey (Shinobi MMA FC Matchmaker) said, "My biggest challenge for Shinobi War II was finding a suitable opponent for Tom Aspinall. For such a young fighter he has an impressive record and an even more impressive skill set. There are not many UK heavyweight MMA fighters out there and there are even fewer on the same level as Tom. However, I believe in Owain we have found someone who will certainly give Tom Aspinall a run for his money! Neither man has felt what it is like to loose and come May 31st, someone's 0 has got to go."

Shinobi MMA Fighting Championships is delighted to announce the addition of a middleweight bout to Shinobi War II. The bout will feature Jim Radcliffe vs Dan Cassell. Dan Cassell fights out of Wolfpack MMA. Dan is a very experienced fighter holding an impressive 7-2 amateur MMA record. Last time out Dan earned a hard fought unanimous decision victory over Piotr Adamczuk at Caged Fighter 7. Jim Radcliffe fights out of SGB in Manchester under the watchful eye of Karl Tanswell. In Jim's last bout he took on Dan Stoddard at Rage in the Cage 3 where he won via TKO in the first round.
Ste Passey (Shinobi MMA FC Matchmaker) said, "Jim and Dan are both talented fighters from very good gyms. Dan may have significantly more experience, but this won't be the first time Jim has fought someone with significantly more experience. I assure you this fight is more evenly matched that it appears on paper."

Shinobi MMA Fighting Championships can now reveal the addition of a lightweight bout to Shinobi War II. The contest will feature Jay Moogan vs Rob Zabitis. Jay Moogan is another fighter hailing from HFFS. Jay will be making his debut at Shinobi War 2. However, he is no stranger to combat sports having competed extensively as an amateur boxer in a youth. Rob Zabitis fights out of Team Elite and holds a 2-1 record. Rob is 19 years old and when not fighting inside the cage he is known to compete in K1 to stay busy.
Ste Passey (Shinobi MMA FC Matchmaker) said, "As Jay Moogan comes from a boxing background we know he will have very good hands. However, Rob Zabitis represents a tough debut for him. Jay's coaches must certainly have confidence in their fighter."
Shinobi War II will take place on Saturday 31st May 2013 at the Deeside Leisure Centre, Queensferry, North Wales.
