The New York Fire Department's boxing team has a rich history and travels as far as Ireland for competitive shows. Coach Bobby McGuire is a true class act who prepares his fighters for battle and matches them up well for spirited competition. This year his team will face a tough crop of Massachusetts-based opponents from the ranks of firefighters, policemen, and corrections officers. Also, both men and women civil servants will face each other in the ring for this spectacular event.
