German television network DSF is set to begin airing UFC-related content in March, which is expected to include UFC Unleashed, The Ultimate Fighter, and even events a source with the UFC tells PDG.
The deal comes on the heels of a proposed UFC 99 event in Cologne, Germany in June. The initial announcement of the event was heavily questioned due to the lack of visibility the sport has in the country, but the television deal is expected to help change that. Germany is one of the planned locations for the UFC's expansion as they move from England and Ireland and go deeper into Europe.
