Professor X Cut by the UFC

Sources have confirmed to PDG that Xavier Foupa-Pokam has been dropped by the UFC after losing both of his fights with the promotion.

The Cage Rage veteran lost his debut with the UFC in a decision to PRIDE veteran Denis Kang at UFC 97 in April. Most recently he was defeated by TKO by Drew McFedries in just over thirty seconds at UFC 98 on May 23.

Sources close to "Professor X" expect to see him fighting in the Palace Fighting Championships soon, likely for the promotion's middleweight title.
