Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum - Weigh-In Results & Pictures
The Legend, MMA pioneer Frank Shamrock, will go into the cage Saturday night to make a very special announcement in front of his hometown fans at San Jose, California's HP Pavilion, the birthplace of Strikeforce MMA. The special announcement, of course, will be part of the live telecast of the STRIKEFORCE and M-1 GLOBAL "Fedor vs. Werdum'' mega-event on SHOWTIME® (live at 10 p.m. ET/PT) in what is expected to be a packed arena.
"The fans in San Jose have responded for this awesome fight card," said Scott Coker, president and CEO of Strikeforce. "All this week, ticket sales have been tracking as well as ever. We are proud to announce that HP Pavilion earlier today opened up a few sections to accommodate demand with some tickets still available from $35. I think we are going to blow the roof off the Shark Tank Saturday night."

This will mark the first time in MMA history that a universally recognized No. 1 male and female fighter in the world will step into the same cage on the same night.
