I think the only one I disagree with is Fight of the Year, that I think Misaki/Santiago should have, although that's hardly a massive disagreement.
Also I assume that the *Weightclass* of the year awards are for improving someone's position in the division. Then they're pretty much right. If they were for just who has the best wins in the division, then particularly Diaz and Bader are pretty off.

If you include K-1 accomplishments (which while not MMA, evidently he did include it, as it was listed), then I think Ubereem is absolutely over Cain. If not, then yeah, Overeem certainly shouldn't be.
Also I think the general impression of Overeem, even for specifically MMA, among people has probably increased more than Cain's has, which is saying quite a lot.

I would have picked Edgar for LW of the year but I can't really complain about Miller and I agree that if you include K-1 at all Overeem is easily the HW of the year.

Alot of the reaction I have seen to our awards on other boards are that not enough UFC guys won...........
As far as Frank Edgar and Jim Miller goes, Edgar beat a BJ Penn twice but neither time did Penn look even remotely interested in fighting. Miller had four wins including a shocking 1st round submission over the previously undefeated Oliviera.
Overeem's overall body of work in 2010 earned him HW of the year.
Misaki/Santiago vs. Henderson/Pettis.............We probably switched back and forth ten times on that one before making a final decision.
