Former WEC Champion Jamie Varner Returns to the UFC


So I just updated my profile bio. Very fortunate/excited for this opportunity to be back in the UFC - Jamie Varner



Congrats!


Five years after his last appearance in the UFC, Jamie Varner is getting the call back. He will face Edson Barboza at UFC 146 on May 26 in Las Vegas, replacing an injured Evan Dunham.

Sources close to the match-up confirmed the new fight with www.MMAWeekly.com on Tuesday. UFC officials also confirmed the fight late Tuesday evening.

Not that excited about this, didn't he recently lose to that former pornstar guy Cochrane?

You are an idiot! Yes he lost to the gay porn star but he has won his last two fights by strikes in round 1 including whipping Drew Fickett. I don't think he beats Barbosa but he deserves to be back in the UFC.
