Cage Rage 25: Weigh-In Results!


LONDON – The Cage Rage 25 weigh-ins are in the books, and all fighters made weight. Several fighters came in looking leaner and lighter than they have before. Most notable were Neil Grove and Robert “Buzz” Berry who looked in excellent shape. Ken Shamrock looked focused and composed throughout the process and is clearly in a great state of mind ahead of Saturday’s encounter with Berry.

For the first women’s MMA bout at Wembley arena, Aysen Berik had to spend time in the sauna to make the agreed weight limit of 60 kg / 132.3 lbs. She now faces the task of making her MMA debut in front of a sold out crowd of 8,300, a figure confirmed by Andy Geer of Cage Rage.

It was also officially announced that Ian Freeman and current Cage Rage British Light Heavyweight Champion Paul Cahoon will square off on May 10 at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, England as previously reported by MMAWeekly.com. The move to Birmingham marks Cage Rage’s first venture outside of London for the main show and into the buoyant Midlands market.
