Smith/Lawler II Set For EliteXC's July 26th CBS Show

EliteXC announced during the last night's broadcast of EliteXC: Return of the King that Robbie Lawler and Scott Smith will face off in a rematch for the EliteXC middleweight title on CBS on July 26.

They talked with Smith and he said that his eye as well as his foot are both fine and he is ready to fight. Now the rematch is official. No word from Lawler yet but expect a statement soon.

Shayna Baszler's Opponent Announced For EliteXC CBS July Show!!


Dave Meltzer is reporting that Shayna Baszler's opponent for the upcoming EliteXC/CBS primetime show on July 26th will be none other than Christiane Santos. Santos is the wife of Evengelista "Cyborg" Santos. It is believed that the winner of this fight will fight Gina Carano later in the year for the EliteXC women's championship.
