TUF Fighters To Pay Damages, TUF Season 8


Although it's become a seasonal tradition, fighters on The Ultimate Fighter will now be held accountable for items that they break in the house.

Dana White recently told Kevin Iole at Yahoo! that it cost nearly $70,000 to fix the house this past season after the fighters of season seven destroyed it. White said that fighters will pay for anything in the house that they break. He also mentioned that fighters were never encouraged to trash the house.

Like last season, 32 fighters will start the show and have to fight to get into the house. However, unlike last season, this time they will feature lightweights and light heavyweights, so the final 16 that make it in the house will be 8 for each weight class.
