After Karlos Vemola suffered a fractured cheekbone in training, forcing him out of next week's UFC 155 bout with Chris Leben, middleweight rising star Derek Brunson has verbally agreed to step up and make his Octagon debut in Las Vegas against "The Crippler" on December 29th.
