Biggest upsets in MMA history?

Postby Make_Believe_Muscle » Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:31 am

What are the biggest upsets to you? Upsets so big, that you were still surprised from the results days later.

For me, it'll have to be:

Kevin Randleman's brutal knockout and GNP victoryover Cro Cop

Gabriel Gonzaga's out-of-nowhere high kick to Cro Cop that knocked him dead

Matt Serra's knockout victory over GSP

Forrest Griffin's submission win over Shogun

Those are the most shocking and biggest upsets that I can think of as of now. What are the biggest upset you can think of?

That one tops my list of recent upsets.
What do you expect? The comedian is dead.

Serra over GSP blew my mind.
When you're this great, it's hard to be humble

The first time GSP beat Hughes wasn't a super upset though.

I'd say the biggest is Serra over GSP, followed by Forrest over Shogun and Gonzaga over Mirko.

Sokoudjou stopping Nog and Arona ranks highly, too.
