Mark Coleman To Be Inducted Into UFC Hall Of Fame

MMAjunkie.com confirmed today that Mark "The Hammer" Coleman (15-8, 6-3UFC) will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame at March 1st's UFC 82 in Columbus OH.
Coleman, who first came onto the MMA scene at UFC 10, won the Heavyweight 8-Man tournament and would follow that up with another tournament win at UFC 11. His next fight would be with Dan "The Beast Severn at UFC 12 to decide the first ever UFC Heavyweight Champion. "The Hammer" would win the match via choke in the 1st round.
His next 3 fights would end in losses, decisions to Maurice Smith and Pedro Rizzo and a highlight reel head kick loss to Pete Williams.
Coleman would make the move to the Pride organization in Japan winning the Open Weight Grand Prix of the year 2000. He last fought at Pride 32 in Oct. of 2006, losing to The #1 ranked Heavyweight in the world Fedor Emelianenko.
