On Oct. 26, top 10 middleweights Munoz and Bisping will meet at a UFC Fight Night event held at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The fight will air on FOX Sports 2 (the channel soon-to-be renamed from FUEL), and the winner will suddenly thrust himself right back into limelight as a potential title challenger to the winner of December's Silva vs. Chris Weidman rematch.

An injury has caused a change to the UFC's return to England next month. Tom Watson (16-6 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has been forced out of his middleweight fight with Alessio Sakara (15-10 MMA, 6-7 UFC), and Magnus Cedenblad (11-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) has stepped up to fill in. UFC officials made the announcement of the new pairing for UFC Fight Night 30 on Sunday.

Bisping out at UFC Fight Night 30, Machida now faces Munoz


On October 26th, Manchester's own Michael “The Count” Bisping was set to return to British soil to battle Mark Munoz in the middleweight main event of UFC Manchester 2013.

But Bisping, England's biggest MMA star, has now been injured and will be unable to compete in the event. Munoz' new opponent is former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida. Brazilian Machida, who recently announced his move to 185 pounds, had been slated to headline Fight for the Troops on November 6th against Tim Kennedy.

A new opponent for Kennedy will be announced in coming days on UFC.com.
