ONE FC 17: Era of Champions features Moraes vs Suzuki on June 14th

ONE FC, Asia's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) organization with a 90% market share, has agreed to a partnership with Indonesia's top entertainment company, 7Kings Entertainment. The partnership will see ONE FC return to Jakarta for another blockbuster event on 14 June 2014 at the state-of-the-art Mata Elang International Stadium (MEIS).The main event will feature a flyweight bout between dynamic Brazilian striker Adriano Moraes and Japanese MMA veteran Kosuke 'Rambo' Suzuki. Indonesian MMA star Fransino Tirta will also meet Sami Amin from Egypt in the co-main event.

CEO of ONE Fighting Championship Victor Cui stated, "Our Indonesian fans have been eagerly awaiting our return to Jakarta and we are excited to be able to bring world-class MMA back to the capital city of Indonesia. This time, we will be back with MEIS as the official venue partner and a partnership with Indonesia's top entertainment company, 7Kings. 7Kings is synonymous with hosting world-class musical and sporting events and I am ecstatic to be working with them. Fans in Jakarta and all over the world can look forward to an unforgettable night of explosive knockouts and exciting finishes!"

"It is a privilege ad honor for us to be the promoter for ONE FC in Indonesia. As the result of EMTEK group (SCTV & Indosiar) and Mata Elang Group's joint efforts (Indonesia's two largest entertainment companies), 7Kings Entertainment was established to offer the best in entertainment. With ONE FC, 7Kings will present to Indonesia a world-class mixed martial arts event, with unmatched visuals, lighting and media production," stated Aldo Menayang, CEO of 7Kings Entertainment.

With a seating capacity of 15,000, MEIS is the biggest state-of-the-art indoor arena in Jakarta. It has previously held events for international acts such as Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez, Big Bang and many more. This year, it will add Asia's largest mixed martial arts organization to that list. MEIS's size and location inside Ancol Beach City, which is a lifestyle and entertainment centre, makes it the perfect venue to host the large group of ardent MMA supporters.

Adriano Moraes joined ONE FC as one of the most touted prospects in the world and demonstrated his ability by overcoming the experience of Yasuhiro Urushitani in his last ONE FC bout, boosting his record to 10-1. Moraes is one of the most talented mixed martial artists to emerge from Brazil in recent years and will look to claim a memorable win with a victory over Suzuki.

Previously a Shooto fighter, Kosuke "Rambo" Suzuki accumulated an impressive 10-3 record and is looking to boost that with another victory in ONE FC on 14 June in Jakarta. This will be Suzuki's ONE FC debut and he will be bringing along his "Rambo" persona and fighting flair to the ONE FC cage as he aims to prove himself as one of the best flyweights in the world.

Since making his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2003, Fransino Tirta has amassed an unblemished 15-0-1 record. Tirta is only the second Indonesian home-grown Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. He is also a multiple-division winner in grappling, and has beaten world-class competition in sanshou, boxing and combat sambo. His well-roundedness is legendary having started training 12 years ago in Japanese Jiu-jitsu and adding wrestling, boxing, sanshou and grappling into his arsenal. This June, Tirta is set to proudly represent his homeland on a global stage of MMA as he faces Egyptian mixed martial artist Sami Amin.

Egyptian Sami Amin will also be making his ONE FC debut this June when he faces Indonesia's Fransino Tirta. With a record of 4-1, Amin won most of his fights via TKO and looks like one of the most promising MMA talents to come from Egypt. Winning this fight against Tirta will further his case as an exciting mixed martial artist and move him one step closer to a future title opportunity.

Four Bouts Added to ONE FC: Era of Champions

ONE FC, Asia's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) organization with a 90% market share, has added four exciting bouts to ONE FC: ERA OF CHAMPIONS, which is set to take place in the state-of-the-art Mata Elang International Stadium (MEIS) in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 14 June. Indonesian stalwarts Yohan Mulia Legowo and Zuli Silawanto will represent the host country when they face dangerous opponents in Malaysia's Ev Ting and Iran's Barbod respectively. An explosive flyweight bout between Geje Eustaquio and Kentaro Watanabe and a clash between welterweights Mahmoud Salama and Aung La N Sang have also been added.

CEO of ONE Fighting Championship Victor Cui stated, "ONE FC has added four exciting bouts to ONE FC: ERA OF CHAMPIONS! Indonesian pride will be on the line when Yohan Mulia Legowo and Zuli Silawanto represent Indonesia in their contests. The flyweight bout between Geje Eustaquio and Kentaro Watanabe also pits two of the most electrifying flyweights in the world against each other and the welterweight bout between Mahmoud Salama and Aung La N Sang is another highly anticipated battle. Indonesian fans in attendance and ONE FC fans watching all over the world are in for an unforgettable night of explosive world-class mixed martial arts action!"

Geje Eustaquio is a skilled flyweight who trains alongside Eduard Folayang and Honorio Banario at Team Lakay in the high altitudes of Baguio City, Philippines. Extremely quick and agile, he is proficient in every facet of mixed martial arts. With the ONE FC Flyweight World Championship still up for grabs, Eustaquio is looking to stake his claim on a title shot with an impressive victory. In his last outing, he confidently dispatched fellow Filipino Eugene Toquero in convincing fashion.

Kentaro Watanabe is a Japanese flyweight who will also be looking to make a mark in ONE FC's Flyweight division. Watanabe has come through the ranks of the Shooto organization with his signature lightning quick striking style that has made him a favorite among Japanese mixed martial arts fans. He now looks to showcase his exciting style of fighting to the millions of ONE FC fans watching across the world.

Yohan Mulia Legowo grew up in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia, and was exposed to all forms of martial arts from a young age. Since nine, Legowo has been committed to learning the various forms of martial arts in the world and would take his time mastering each one before gradually progressing to the next. He eventually began to compete, earning accolades in Kickboxing, Sanda, and Submission Grappling. Like many Indonesian mixed martial artists, Legowo also had a sustained run in the now-defunct TPIFC from 2002 to 2004, including a contest against the undefeated Fransino Tirta, another recent signing by ONE FC. His career stalled in 2007, when he suffered a broken arm. Although doctors told him his career was over, he resiliently fought back, recuperating intensely before finally being able to return to mixed martial arts action in 2010. Since then, he has been determined to make up for lost time and has not looked back since.

Ev Ting is regarded as one of Malaysia's top MMA fighters. Ting is of Malaysian Chinese ancestry but his family relocated to New Zealand when he was seven years old. It was an MMA highlight reel that he discovered on the internet that first sparked his interest in training in the sport, and he quickly found a home at Auckland MMA in 2009. After an undefeated stint as an amateur, Ting made his professional debut in 2011 and has since won six of eight bouts. The talented mixed martial artist will look to proudly represent both Malaysia and New Zealand as he brings his impressive skills into the ONE FC cage.

Zuli Silawanto is an Indonesian MMA veteran who has more than 10 years of professional mixed martial arts experience. He will be looking to bounce back after falling short against Nik Harris in his last ONE FC bout. He has a diverse martial arts arsenal that includes Kickboxing, Pencak Silat and Submission Wrestling. He fights in front of his hometown fans after two years competing overseas and will use the support of the fans to motivate him to victory.

Iran's Barbod is a former Taekwondo coach who transitioned into Muay Thai and eventually mixed martial arts. He has travelled the globe extensively, spending time in South Korea and has now settled into a head coaching role in Malaysia. A deadly striker with extremely fast hands, he will have his hands full against Silawanto.

Aung La N Sang will be the first mixed martial artist of Myanmar descent to enter the ONE FC cage.He left Myanmar to study in the United States, where he discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and subsequently, mixed martial arts. Aung is nicknamed "The Burmese Python" for his constricting ability which has led him to nine submission wins.

Mahmoud Salama is a veteran of the Egyptian mixed martial arts scene. He has never been defeated in his home country, racking up all four of his wins by TKO. Salama boasts power in both hands and will look to knock out any opponent standing in his way. This clash against Aung represents the classic striker against grappler matchup.

The bout between Mahmoud Salama and Aung La N Sang were originally scheduled to take place in ONE FC: RISE OF HEROES earlier in May, but was postponed due to visa issues. With those issues now resolved, the bout is now set to take place in Jakarta.

Three New Bouts Complete ONE FC: Era of Champions

ONE FC has completed the lineup for ONE FC: ERA OF CHAMPIONS, set to take place in Jakarta on 14 June, with the addition of three exciting bouts. Top Filipino flyweight Ruel Catalan will duel with Malaysia's top flyweight prospect, Gianni Subba, while Muay Thai world champion from Thailand, Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, meets Filipino fighter, Jomanz Omanz. Indonesia's first female mixed martial artist, Desi Rahayu, will meet Malaysian fighter, Ella Tang, in the first ever female mixed martial arts bout in Indonesia.

CEO of ONE Fighting Championship Victor Cui stated, "ONE FC returns once again to the exciting city of Jakarta with what is expected to be the biggest sporting event held in Indonesia this year! ONE FC: ERA OF CHAMPIONS will witness Indonesia's first female mixed martial artist, Desi Rahayu, making her ONE FC debut against Malaysia's Ella Tang. The card is stacked with a bevy of international stars, and fans, both watching live in Jakarta and around the world, can prepare for a night of thrilling world-class mixed martial arts action when the ONE FC warriors battle it out in the cage!"

Muay Thai world champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke will make his ONE FC debut at ONE FC: ERA OF CHAMPION. He has an impressive Muay Thai record of 282-65, and is a 3x Lumpinee World Champion. Now an instructor at Evolve MMA, he has trained extensively in mixed martial arts in anticipation of this bout.

Jomanz Omanz is a Filipino boxer who has an impressive boxing record of 12 wins with only two losses. Having reached the peak of his boxing career, he now transitions to mixed martial arts. This is a clash of the two most popular striking styles and it is up to Amnuaysirichoke and Omanz to see which discipline comes out on top.

Malaysia's rising flyweight contender, Gianni Subba returns to the ONE FC cage for the second time this year to take on another Filipino flyweight in Ruel Catalan. Subba wants to prove once again he is considered one of the hottest rising stars in the world against Catalan. Subba has finished his opponents in all the bouts that he has won, and will look to do the same again on 14 June.

Ruel Catalan is a Wushu practitioner and comes from a family of mixed martial artists. Catalan unleashed a vicious series of ground punches to defeat Cambodia's Khim Dima in his last bout, and gets a tougher test in Subba. Catalan is an accomplished striker and will need to use all his skills to overcome the Malaysian prodigy.

Indonesian fans will also be excited when the first ever Indonesian professional mixed martial artist, Desi Rahayu, enters the ONE FC cage to represent Indonesia against Malaysia's Ella Tang. Desi Rahayu is best known for being the National Judo Champion in Indonesia and her debut in ONE FC marks her transition to becoming a complete mixed martial artist.

Ella Tang is a Muay Thai, Sanshou and kickboxing veteran from Malaysia. She has dedicated herself to mastering the striking arts and now wants to integrate them with grappling in mixed martial arts. She hopes her experience comes through when she takes on a highly touted opponent in Rahayu.
