I just talked with Kevin and he said he no opponent yet. The WVR website also does not list an opponent.......it just says he will be a participant.

-Apparently WVR jumped the gun the other day when they had the fight listed on there website!!

World Victory Road on Thursday officially announced Kevin Randleman and New Zealander Jim York for its May 18 Sengoku II fight card. The event is scheduled to take place at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo.

Randleman confirmed his participation to PunchDrunkGamer in February.He hasn’t competed since losing to Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in October 2006.

Randleman is also signed to face Jeff Monson in June at the Global Fighting Championships in Charlotte, N.C.

New Zealand's own York is 9-1 professional record without ever going to a decision.

Hopefully this man is great with submissions, Kevin needs a great test to see where he's at with them before he fights Monson! I won't complain though if he's not, I'm just stoked to finally get to see him fight!!!

Very winnable fight indeed.

He sounds very motivated. I hope he does well in his next fights since he hasn't been the "monster" we all once knew. I'll definitely be rooting for him.
