A lightweight bout between Jess Liaudin vs. David Bielkheden and a welterweight encounter between Paul Kelly vs. Marcus Davisare set to take place at UFC 89 on October 18, according to separate reports by MMAWeekly.com.

MMA Weekly is indicating that Liaudin and Bieklheded will both be dropping from welterweight for their fight. TKOExtreme.com had reported last week that Kelly was set to square off against Sam Stout. However, MMA Weekly is quoting Kelly as its source for their reported matchup.

So far, just one match has been officially announced for UFC 89, which is scheduled to take place from Birmingham, England at the NIA Arena. The UFC formally announced several weeks ago that the show will be headlined by a middleweight fought featuring Michael Bisping taking on Chris Leben.

A welterweight fight between Diego Sanchez vs. Thiago Alves has been rumored as well, but nothing has been officially announced.

Currently, UFC 89 is not scheduled to be shown on pay-per-view in the United States. It’s expected that the event will air on a tape delay basis on Spike TV, however, no official announcement has been made.
