With one fight remaining on his current contract, heavyweight title contender Fabricio Werdum has revealed to the Brazilian website Tatame.com that he has already signed a five-fight contract extension with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Werdum, a former PRIDE standout, is 2-1 since entering the UFC and is expected to complete his current four-fight contract at UFC 90 on Oct. 25 in Chicago. A deal for his next opponent has not be finalized but Werdum gave indications that he could fight the debuting Junior Cigano.
After that if he wins, he should be fighting the winner of Nogueira vs. Mir!!
