Overeem/Takahashi Added to Sengoku IV; First Middlweight GP Participants for Sengoku V Announced

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August. 8, 2008


Kazuhiro Nakamura Will Fight At Sengoku;
Takahashi vs. Overeem Set For Sengoku IV



World Victory Road confirmed that the Middleweight GP Series will start at Sengoku V on 28th September in Yoyogi National Gymnasium. Kazuhiro Nakamura drops his weight to participate in the Sengoku Middleweight GP. The other participants are Evangelista Cyborg from Chute Boxe, Siyar Bahadurzada who is SHOOTO Light Heavyweight Champion, and 2007 Strikeforce Middlweight Tournament winner Jorge Santiago.
Also confirmed was additional fight in Sengoku V. Kazuo Takahashi faces Valentijn Overeem on 24th August.

I'm just not excited about WVR. Their matchmaking is mediocre... its either boo guys I don't care about, or if a good guy fights it's one-sided.

The exception at this point for me is the MWGP which is shaping up nicely. I'll pass on Aug 24 though save French/Kitaoka
