Fresno, California: January 20th, 2009: -
WarGods and Ken Shamrock Productions (KSP) are hosting a spectacular MMA event Feb 13th at the Fresno Arena "The Valentine’s Eve Massacre". The event will be the first of a string of shows being set up in 2009 between the two promotions and featuring fights long overdue. One of these will possibly include a match up in the final stages of negotiations between Ken Shamrock and Tank Abbott slated for the end of April in Reno, Nevada. Their rivalry dates back years, it is well publicized and a fight between the two was only a matter of time. Ken Shamrock said it best “There are a lot of fans that have followed this for years, die hard fans, who want to see this and reminisce a little bit.” Wargods and KSP are making 2009 the year of the legends.
Due to unforeseen injuries changes have been made to the Feb 13th card - Ken Shamrock’s original opponent has been changed to Ross Clifton. The David and Goliath match up will be interesting to say the least and Ken’s son Ryan Shamrock will not be able to compete, but will be back on the next card. For the Valentine Eve Massacre tickets can be purchased online at http://www.Ticketmaster.com.

Josh Haynes Added........................
Fresno, CA - February 5th, 2009: - Josh “Bring The Pain” Haynes is the latest addition to the already stacked card in Fresno , CA at the Selland Arena on Feb 13th.
In the Ultimate Fighter, Josh won a controversial victory against Tait Fletcher by decision after the second round. In the semifinals, he defeated Jesse Forbes by guillotine chock in the second round. He was defeated by Michael Bisping in the finals due to strikes.
Haynes is on the reality TV show Ty Murray’s Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge which debuted on Friday August 10, 2007.
The proud married man and father of three has been headlining shows for smaller promotions after departing from UFC. What he brought to the cage caught the eyes of the Wargod and KSP execs. He is already scheduled to fight Rafael Del Real at the Valentine’s Eve Massacre in Fresno Friday the 13th and is also scheduled to headline an early spring show against fellow UFC vet Vernon “Tiger” White. Josh Haynes will then enter into the middleweight division to compete for titles against current Wargods BJ Lacy, Nate James, and Kyacey Uscola.
Josh Haynes states, "I'm very excited to be fighting for Wargods/KSP. Too many times since I have left the UFC, I get calls from all of these other promotions saying to come fight our toughest guy for a Main Event. Then I show up, give the crowd what they want which is a great show with some heavy hands and then that's it. I want to be part of an organization that stands for something more and wants to promote me as a fighter and not just part of a single fight. I like what Wargods/KSP is doing and believe they have the tools to be a force in the MMA world. I will fight for them as long as they will have me and continue to support them, because they believe in their fighters and support their growth in the MMA community."
