Rodrigo Nogueira believes Brock Lesnar would have more difficult to get the title if he had fought more times up to become the UFC heavyweight champion.
“Lesnar showed off he could be among the best heavyweight fighters even having fought just few fights but I don’t know if he deserved the championship. Maybe if he had fought ten times up to get the title shot he didn’t become the champion. When you fight ten times you get hurt and it damages you along the time. But Brock stood the pressure to fight for the belt. He has a good mind but let’s see if he holds the belt for a long time” said Minotauro.
After recovering from knee injuries which put him in trouble versus Frank Mir for the interim heavyweight title, Big Nog has been focusing his wrestling training to face Randy Couture at the main event of UFC 102 on August 29th.
