Tim Sylvia, Kazushi Sakuraba, Shinya Aoki, Bob Sapp, Kid Yamamoto and others announced for “Dynamite!! 2009″
With a rich and extensive tradition of putting together spectacular New Years Eve mixed martial arts events, 2009 is looking like another years end celebration that will fail to disappoint in the land of the rising sun.
“Dynamite!! 2009” will be taking place on December 31 from the Saitama Arena in Saitama, Japan, airing live in the United States on HDNet.
FEG President Sadaharu Tanigawa and DREAM Event Producer Keiichi Sasahara recently released a sneak peak at the roster they are currently working on that includes fighters such as Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto, Bob Sapp, Tim Sylvia, Kazushi Sakuraba, Kiyoshi Tamura, Hayato “Mach” Sakurai, Hideo Tokoro and Hong Man Choi.
While no match-ups have been confirmed at this time for the previously confirmed participants, announcements of their specific bouts are expected to roll out shortly.
At this time the current fights that have been confirmed for the are Shinya Aoki vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri for the DREAM lightweight crown; Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. Ikuhisa Minowa in the Super Hulk Tournament Final; and a K-1 rules bout between Masato Kobayashi and the winner of this year’s K-1 World Max Championship.
