Mackens Semerzier has withdrawn due to injury.

This is not the first time I have been hurt during training camp. But it's the first time it's been bad enough that I couldn't train at all. I will not be fighting at WEC48 due to injury. Sorry people but "it's on to the next one". I have a new appreciation for my health. I'll be better soon and hopefully looking forward... to WEC51. Thanx for all the love and support.

As expected Chad Mendes (6-0 MMA, 1-0 WEC) has replaced an injured Mackens Semerzier (5-1 MMA, 1-1 WEC) and meets Anthony Morrison (15-8 MMA, 0-1 WEC) on the preliminary-card of the April 24 WEC 48 event.
