Well, it seems like there is a lot of excitement for Brock Lesnar's debut in the UFC.

Whether you like him, because you were a devote WWE fan back in the days when he was there, and know of his amazing athletic prowess and god-like strength, and can't wait to see him possibly run through people like a freight train.

Even if you're not much of a fan of his, or never seen him wrestle in college, or in pro-wrestling for that matter, but is curious to what he brings to the table based on the many myths, and hype surrounding him and his once household name in the WWE, I think everyone wants to know how he will fare in the WWE.

I personally think he can possibly be a friggin monster, only if he gets the top-notch training from the best coaches, fighters, and goes to the best camp, and soaks in everything he can learn.

He already has a an amazing collegiate wrestling career and stats. According to many sources (and the ones I got from Wikipedia) he has accomplished the following:

* 1998 Junior College National Champion
* Big Ten Title (1999-2000)
* 1999 NCAA Division I runner-up
* Ranked the #1 Heavyweight in the Big Ten (2000)
* 2000 NCAA Division I Champion

With his those wrestling stats, alone he has the strength, and athleticism. Lets see how good his striking, grappling and submission skills will take him.

I personally hope he does really well against Frank Mir (who is no slouch and was once a UFC heavyweight Champion and broke Tim Silvia arm), and in the UFC period. He can hopefully bring light to a rather weak heavyweight roster in the UFC.

If he fairs well, we can seem him take on Tim, Nog, Brandon Vera, Chris Herring, and whoever wins between Werdum and Gonzaga.

I'm not hugging this guys nuts now, but I do think he has a good chance.

What are your opinions?

I can't imagine him as an exciting fighter myself. I totally agree. I could see him do pretty well for himself if anything though.

He is definitely a monster...hopefully he makes good decisions about who he trains with and the fighters he surrounds himself with. Division 1A National Champ is no joke - there are lots of bad ass fighters that come with a similar pedigree.
