Card finalized for 'Fight for Japan'

Tuesday afternoon, www.Sherdog.com reported that Nelson would replace Antonio McKee against Aoki at the May 29 event. Instead, Aoki will now likely face another UFC veteran in Rich Clementi. Dream official Mike Kogan reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday evening, and Sherdog.com has confirmed with a source close to the event that both Clementi and Aoki have verbally agreed to the bout.

Strikeforce veteran Darren Uyenoyama has been forced out of his May 29 bout in Dream's Japan bantamweight grand prix against Atsushi Yamamoto due to a recurring hand injury.

Following Uyenoyama's withdrawal, Dream announced that Uyenoyama would be replaced by Osaka-based prospect Yusaku Nakamura at an open workout at Deep Official Impact Gym in Tokyo.

I haven't seen anything on where to watch this. Does anyone know if it is PPV, HDNet or streaming online?

American fans will get a chance to see DREAM's first live effort since the devastating earthquake in Japan.

HDNet CEO Andrew Simon today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that "DREAM.17: Fight for Japan," which takes place Sunday at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, is set to broadcast on HDNet via tape delay.

The event airs next Friday, June 3, at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

HDNet has long been the stateside broadcast partner of the Japanese promotion, though its broadcast plans for DREAM.17 had remained unknown until now.

DREAM.17, which serves as a fundraiser to benefit victims of the earthquake and tsunami, hosts the first round of the 2011 Japan Cup Bantamweight tournament.

Additionally, a bout between DREAM lightweight champion Shinya Aoki and Rich Clementi is featured, though it's unclear whether Aoki's title is on the line.
