Lauzon-Weisman Title Bout Booked for WCF 11 on June 18

WCF announces 155lb Lightweight Title Fight between UFC Veteran Dan Lauzon and Noah Weisman: Co-Main event features former training partners Greg Rebello vs Scott Rehm
World Championship Fighting announced today that former UFC veteran Dan "The Upgrade" Lauzon will be fighting rising New England MMA star Noah Weisman for the WCF 155lb Lightweight Title in the main event of WCF 11 on June 18th.
Lauzon, the youngest fighter to have ever competed in the UFC, is coming off two impressive back to back wins by TKO and submission. Lauzon is undefeated in the WCF (4-0) with a 14-4 overall professional MMA record and returns to the WCF for the first time since WCF 5 in 2008 to to defend his claim of the #1 lightweight in the Northeast. Looking to knock Lauzon out of that #1 position is fast rising MMA star Noah Weisman. Weisman is one of the most highly touted and dangerous submission fighters in the entire Northeast and is riding a three fight win streak including a TKO victory against the much more experienced Luis Felix at WCF 10. Northeast MMA fans are encouraged not to blink during this epic main event as both fighters are known for their exciting style and the ability to finish fights anywhere the fight goes.
The co-main event for WCF 11 also promises fireworks as a grudge match pits former teammates Greg Rebello against Scott Rehm. Rehm, who was a teammate of Rebello's at the at the Sityodtong Muay Thai and MMA academy, enters this fight coming off of a knockout win over another UFC Ultimate Fighter contestant Pat Scultz and with all of his professional wins coming by KO or TKO. This match promises to be a barn burner with both fighters looking for nothing less than a knockout!
