Pennsylvania AC Overturns Oliveira vs. Lentz Decision

Following an illegal knee strike thrown by Charles Oliveira to opponent Nik Lentz that eventually brought about the end of their fight at UFC on Versus 4, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission has decided to overturn the bout and rule it a no contest.

The decision was handed down on Wednesday from Executive Director Greg Sirb.

“After review of the tape of this contest and after consultation with the referee the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission has ruled that the results of this match will be changed to a no contest,” the statement read.

“This change is a direct result from an accidental kick to the head by Mr. Oliveira to a grounded Mr. Lentz.”
