Paul Daley vs. Jordan Radev Added to BAMMA 7: Plus Injured Richard Walker replaced by Dean Amasinger and Erik Perez makes his BAMMA debut against James Brum

Europe’s largest and most prominent Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion, The British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA), announced today that Paul “Semtex” Daley will face off against top European contender Jordan Radev at BAMMA 7 at The NIA in Birmingham on September 10th.

This will mark Paul Daley’s second fight with Europe’s leading MMA promotion. Daley (27-11-2) first fought for BAMMA in February at BAMMA 5 claiming a notable victory over Yuya Shirai. Coming into the fight off of two narrow defeats to Nick Diaz and Tyrone Woodley, Daley is more determined than ever to prove he is still a top contender in the welterweight division.

Daley had this to say about the fight, “I want my title shot again, plain and simple. If I have to plow through Radev to get a crack at the belt, then unlucky for him. I can’t wait to be fighting for my UK fans again and promise that by the end of the year I’ll be crowned as the BAMMA welterweight champion.”

Paul Daley, a fighter who many believe has an Achilles heel for wrestlers, has no concerns about facing an Olympic wrestler in Radev, “Game plan this, game plan that, everyone has a great game plan until they get punched in the face. When Radev feels my left hook, his only game plan will be how quickly he can get a flight back to Bulgaria.”

Jordan Radev (23-4-0) is currently riding a four fight win streak and holds notable wins over UFC fighter Jorge Santiago, Yuya Shirai and Alexander Schlemenko. Radev joins the fast growing welterweight division which includes Nate Marquardt and also has his eye on a title shot.

“It’s a real honor to fight for BAMMA. I’m really impressed by their growth and I’m very happy to be making my debut against a World class fighter.” said the Bulgarian. “I want BAMMA to see me as a title contender, so if I have to beat the fan favorite for that recognition, so be it.”

BAMMA also confirmed that Richard Walker has been forced from the card due to an injury and will be replaced by Ultimate Fighter veteran Dean Amasinger. Plus Jackson’s fighter Erik Perez will make his BAMMA debut in a bantamweight bout against James Brum.

GoDaddy.com presents BAMMA 7 in association with Lonsdale and PKR.com on Saturday September 10th at The National Indoor Arena, Birmingham, UK.

Fans can buy Tickets to BAMMA 7 at www.bamma.com and www.theticketfactory.com. Watch the fights live exclusively on Syfy (UK) at 9pm GMT and worldwide at www.bamma.com at 4pm ET / 1pm PT.

As far as I know he is still under a non-exclusive Strikeforce contract.......
What do you expect? The comedian is dead.
