KSW Federation is again very sorry to inform that another fighter had to withdraw from the Saturday’s KSW18 show in Płock’s Orlen Arena. MMA’s unpredictable nature hit us again with an information that Jerome Le Banner will not able to fight in event’s headliner against Marcin Różalski. The Frenchman’s team notified us today that “Geronimo” broke his meniscus during his last training before his flight to Poland.

KSW Federation was able to secure a replacement in a matter of hours. Różalski will now face a widely renowned Dutchman Valentijn Overeem. Amsterdam’s Golden Glory fighter is a veteran of over fifty mixed martial arts contests. During his sixteen-year long career he fought for such formidable organizations as Pride, Strikeforce, Pancrase and 2Hot2Handle. “The Python” dwarves Różalski with experience and even on short notice poses a very serious threat to the Pole’s undefeated MMA record.

Jan Błachowicz gets a new opponent for KSW18

We are sorry to inform that David Branch will not able to face the best light heavyweight in Europe Jan Błachowicz at the Saturday’s KSW 18 show in Płock. The American fighter had to withdraw from the fight after he had received a ban on living his home county.

Black House Academy fighter Mario Miranda will step in on short notice to square off against the Polish standout in the KSW 18 co-main event.

Miranda is a very accomplished grappler. He is a BJJ black belt, ADCC veteran and former member of Brazil’s national wrestling team. His MMA record stands thirteen wins and only three losses. Mario also competed in the UFC facing such renowned fighters as Gerald Harris and Demian Maia.

We have promised you hell and these two will definitely raise some hell!
