The first-ever UFC flyweight world title fight goes down on September 22nd at UFC 152 in Toronto. The four man tournament, which began in March, will culminate with Joseph Benavidez taking on Demetrious Johnson in what is sure to be a memorable bout between two gifted fighters on a historic night. Additionally, the co-main event has been verbally agreed to as top-ten middleweights “All-American” Brian Stann and brash Brit Michael “The Count” Bisping battle it out on Canadian soil to move closer to a title shot.

The return of Matt Hamill will get a different look on September 22nd, as Roger Hollett is out and Vladimir Matyushenko is in for "The Hammer" in UFC 152 action in Toronto. Both fighters are coming off tough 2011 bouts against rising star Alexander Gustafsson and are eager to get back in the win column when they meet on Canadian soil.

White, obviously disappointed at Jones’ decision to not accept the bout, scrapped the UFC 151 card and has moved “Bones” to September 22nd’s UFC 152 show in Toronto, where he will face Lyoto Machida, who is fresh off a spectacular knockout win over Ryan Bader earlier this month. This bout will now be the Toronto main event, joining the UFC’s first ever flyweight championship fight between Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson.

Just as the UFC 152 media call ended, pumping up the main event fight between Jon Jones and Vitor Belfort, as well as the co-main event pitting Joseph Benavidez vs. Demetrious Johnson, UFC Canadian officials announced that the card took a hit.

Vladimir Matyushenko tore his Achilles tendon, taking him out of the fight with returning Ultimate Fighter season 3 product Matt Hamill.

The funny part of the whole thing, however, is that Hamill will now face the fighter he was originally slated to face at UFC 152, the debuting Roger Hollett.

Hamill (10-4) has been in retirement since losing to Alexander Gustafsson more than a year ago, at UFC 133. He was originally slated to return against Hollett at UFC 152, but the opponent was switched to Matyushenko when Hollett fell out of the fight a few weeks ago.

Now, with the injury to Matyushenko, it appears Hollett has had time to recover and will step back into the fight with Hamill.

Hollett (13-3), who fights out of Nova Scotia, gives the Toronto fight card a little more Canadian flavor.

Hollett is riding a five-fight winning streak, including a victory over John Hawk under the Bellator banner, so he doesn’t intend to make it an easy return bout for Hamill.
