In MMA some people have plain boring, and overused nicknames, and some of them of monikers they don't even live up to. Then there's some people who have an original nick name, which does indeed best describe them.
My picks for best Nicknames are (according to who lives up to their Moniker and out of orignality):
Karo "The Heat" Parisyan -because he does bring the heat.
Chuck "The Iceman" Liddel- because he really was an Ice Man for a while
Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva- because he did axe a lot of competition in his career
Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett- Though not the best fighter at all, he is a crazy and spontaneous dude and I like the name.
Bas "El Guapo" Rutten- I liked the fact that he didn't try and use a name that sounds too menacing or malicious.
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson- He always brings that rampant style when he fights.
Paul "Headhunter" Buentello- He always went for the head hahaha.
My Picks for the ones that have monikers that are just plain and simply lame, boring, used plenty of times (and in different variations), and nicknames that don't live up to:
As for this, I'll just say any fighter that has the moniker the "Assasin", "Beast", "Monster" and the such.
I know this thread is lame, but I am bored as hell at work, and doing nothing at my desk at the moment.
So sound off on what you think are the worst and best.
Fighters with the lamest and best nicknames.
