The latest issue of Edge which should be hitting books stores and subscribers about nowish; has tons of new info on Microsoft’s new Xbox experience. Focusing a good deal on it’s new avatar system, MS dropped a few new nuggets on the new Home/Mii like system.
-”eventually thousands of items will be available”, from guitars to clothes to skateboards, plus attendant animation routines.

-Avatars can wear clothes decorated with your old gamerpics.
-”Gamerpics aren’t going away, they’re now a badge of your identity!”
-Lacks the features of Miis when it comes to face editing, makes up for it with everything else.
-COMPOSED OF 102 VIRTUAL BONES.
They are still working on the system and there are also plans for third parties to add unlockable clothes, items ect. as achievements.
