No E3 presentation for Bungie

Reveal of secret Activision project unlikely

Activision-tied independent outfit Bungie will not be at E3 to reveal its new project, the company has confirmed.

“We wanted to make sure you didn’t get whipped into a rumour-fueled frenzy only to have your expectations unceremoniously dashed during expo week,” the company wrote on its website.

Last year the studio signed a landmark ten-year deal with publishing giant Activision.

It is said to be building an expensive multiplatform and multi-device game world entirely from new IP.

The project remains at its early stages.
