10 Questions With Trevor Prangley (by Darrick Patrick)

Trevor Prangley is a professional mixed martial artist who has appeared in organizations such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Strikeforce, Bodog Fight, Professional Fighting Association, SportFight, African Fighting Championships, Euphoria, Kickdown Classic, International Fighting Championship, Xtreme Fighting Alliance, Cage Fighting Monterrey, Ultimate Athlete, Gladiators Vale Tudo, and Bushido. At the time of this very short interview, his next scheduled match is against Emanuel Newton in the Maximum Fighting Championship organization at MFC 21: Hard Knocks on May 15th, 2009.

Darrick: What was the journey that led you to professional mixed martial arts competition?

Trevor: I wrestled ever since I was five years old, so it was just a natural transition for me into MMA.

Darrick: Any words of advice for other individuals looking to compete in MMA?

Trevor: Know what you're getting into because it isn't easy and remember that if you're not having fun with it, it's not for you.

Darrick: Your next scheduled fight is against Emanuel Newton on May 15th. What are your thoughts about this upcoming match?

Trevor: Just another fight, tough guy, hungry - blah blah blah. (Laughs)

Darrick: What brings you the most fulfillment out of martial arts?

Trevor: Winning is always fulfilling and also having the opportunity to touch people around me in a positive way.

Darrick: Where could you possibly see the future of the sport ten years from now?

Trevor: It's hard to tell. Hopefully MMA fighters will be making equal pay with boxers.

Darrick: Who are some of the people that greatly influenced you while growing up?

Trevor: Everyone that was ever mean to me.

Darrick: Outside of MMA, what are your other interests?

Trevor: I love being in the woods - hunting, fishing, etc. Also, I enjoy sitting around relaxing and drinking coffee.

Darrick: Tell us something about you that most people don't know.

Trevor: I'm a saved Christian.

Darrick: What is your oldest memory?

Trevor: That would be getting my first spanking. (Laughs)

Darrick: If you had 24 hours left to live, how would you spend that time?

Trevor: Praying nonstop.
