10 Questions With Todd Brown (by Darrick Patrick)

Todd "Bulldog" Brown is a professional mixed martial artist who has competed in organizations such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Michiana Fight League, Combat USA, XXX Extreme Fighting, Madtown Throwdown, United Fight League, North American Allied Fight Series, Brawl at Bourbon Street, and Ultimate Throwdown. At the time of this very short interview, his next scheduled match is against Igor Pokrajac in the Ultimate Fighting Championship at UFC Live: Sanchez vs. Kampmann on March 3rd, 2011.

Darrick: What was the road that led you to professional mixed martial arts competition?

Todd: I have always been involved in martial arts and I have always been fighting, so it's just natural for me.

Darrick: Do you have any words of advice for other individuals looking to compete in MMA?

Todd: It takes a lot of hard work. Nothing comes easy in this sport.

Darrick: Who is someone in the sport that you highly respect?

Todd: B.J. Penn because he just fights. It doesn't really matter what is expected of him, he fights. Win or lose, he goes about his business.

Darrick: Your next scheduled match is against Igor Pokrajac on March 3rd. What are your thoughts about this upcoming fight?

Todd: Igor and myself are a similar type of fighter. This bout has Fight of the Night written all over it.

Darrick: What brings you the most fulfillment out of martial arts?

Todd: The competition. Knowing where I am strong and where I am weak, so that I can always improve.

Darrick: Who are some of the people that greatly influenced you while growing up?

Todd: My dad and my brothers were my main influences. Just family mostly.

Darrick: Outside of MMA, what are your other interests?

Todd: Other than mixed martial arts, it's family first. I have an awesome wife and four great children.

Darrick: Tell us something about you that most people don't know.

Todd: I believe in aliens...really.

Darrick: What is your oldest memory?

Todd: Yesterday. (Laughs)

Darrick: If you had superpowers, what would they be?

Todd: I'd like to be able to see the future. With those particular powers, there is all kinds of possibilities.
