10 Questions With Carlos Flores (by Darrick Patrick)

Carlos Flores is a professional mixed martial artist who has appeared in organizations such as Bellator Fighting Championships, King of the Cage, and Desert Rage Full Contact Fighting. At the time of this very short interview, his next scheduled match is against Richard Hale in Bellator Fighting Championships at BFC 55 on October 22nd, 2011.

Darrick: How did you end up competing professionally in mixed martial arts?

Carlos: No big background story on this one. I was just watching the UFC and said, "I can do this."

Darrick: Any words of advice for other individuals looking to compete in MMA?

Carlos: Follow what you love and you will get it.

Darrick: Who are a few of the people in the sport that you highly respect?

Carlos: Tito Ortiz, B.J. Penn, and Bas Rutten. Simply for their passion for mixed martial arts.

Darrick: Your next scheduled match is against Richard Hale on October 22nd. What are your thoughts about this upcoming fight?

Carlos: The only thing on my mind is to win this fight and get to the next level.

Darrick: What brings you the most fulfillment out of martial arts?

Carlos: It's fulfilling to know that it will always keep growing and evolving.

Darrick: Who are some of the people that greatly influenced you while growing up?

Carlos: My parents were the most influential people to me.

Darrick: Outside of MMA, what are your other interests?

Carlos: When I'm not training or fighting, I'm watching movies like crazy!

Darrick: If you were the last person alive on Earth, what do you think you'd do to entertain yourself?

Carlos: I'd probably just dance like a monkey. (Laughs)

Darrick: Tell us something about you that most people don't know.

Carlos: I love singing, but I really suck.

Darrick: What is your oldest memory?

Carlos: The earliest memory that I have is of trying to ride a bike.
