Rock Band on Wii Gets 24 Tracks This Week

Songs from performers at Bonnaroo, country artists, and more fill out this week's Wii DLC update.

Soundgarden This week's Rock Band 2 downloads on Wii feature a bevy of country hits, tracks from Bonnaroo artists, and even a handful of budget-priced songs. Of the 24 songs listed below, the four marked with an asterisk will only cost you a dollar (100 Wii Points) when they go live tomorrow, June 16. The remainder of the following tracks will go for the usual two dollars (200 Wii Points) once they're released on the in-game music store:

* "Critical Acclaim" by Avenged Sevenfold
* "Shimmer & Shine" by Ben Harper & Relentless7
* "Mud on the Tires" by Brad Paisley
* "Hillbillie Deluxe" by Brooks & Dunn
* "A Favor House Atlantic" by Coheed and Cambria
* "The Running Free" by Coheed and Cambria
* "Rock & Roll Dream" by Crooked X*
* "Free & Easy (Down the Road I Go)" by Dierks Bentley
* "Sin Wagon" by Dixie Chicks
* "Moving to Seattle" by The Material*
* "Girls Who Play Guitars" by Maximo Park
* "Gunpowder & Lead" by Miranda Lambert
* "Down at the Whisky" by Motley Crue
* "A Clean Shot" by The Myriad*
* "Wilson (live)" by Phish
* "Closer to the Heart" by Rush
* "Devour" by Shinedown
* "Junkies for Fame" by Shinedown
* "Steady at the Wheel" by Shooter Jennings
* "Jesus Christ Pose" by Soundgarden
* "Pretty Noose" by Soundgarden
* "Wolf Like Me" by TV on the Radio
* "Bullets & Guns" by Them Terribles*
* "Who?s Going Home With You Tonight?" by Trapt

Not a bad selection, but if you're planning on investing in a bunch of country songs, then you might want to just hold out for next week's standalone Country Track Pack disc. That'll get you 21 songs for only $29.99 -- a much better deal than the in-game store's two bucks per track.
