Metroid Prime Trilogy discontinued
Nintendo says that it is no longer manufacturing or shipping accomplished Wii FPS collection
Most consumers take the term ‘Limited Edition’ with a pinch of salt nowadays, but Nintendo has confirmed that its Limited Edition Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii is exactly that.
“Unfortunately, Metroid Prime Trilogy is no longer being shipped,” a Nintendo rep told blog Coffee With Games. “You may be able to find what you seek through the second hand video game market.”
The SKU includes Wii title Metroid Prime 3: Corruption as well as versions of GameCube pair Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, both of which are reworked for the motion-sensing Wii Remote.
Expect copies of the game to begin increasing in value in the near future.
