Call of duty 4 Maps on the way...

Infinity community manager, Robert Bowling, has been caught red-handed talking about the highly anticipated Call of Duty 4 map pack. Unfortunately he didn't really reveal much. Im guessing Activision is saving all that up to make some big announcement soon.

Speaking to Destructoid, Bowling said, "People who want open maps are going to be happy with this map pack. People who want more indoor locales are going to be happy with this map pack. People who want something completely different from what they're currently playing are going to be happy with this map pack."

Well we will be the judge of that...

I love the maps in COD4 and actually, there's something I want you guys to help me with:

There's this map when I play online, its a big ass map, Don't remember the name though, but its a big map with a lot of tall grass and several little houses and some small warehouses but still, the map is FREAKING HUGE. And there's also like a dry river in the middle... with a bridge.

So anyways, my question is, why can't I play this with my buddies multiplayer? without going online, it does not appear in my list of maps...

Mcnamara, The name of that map is Called "Overgrown". So you are saying it doesent allow you to choose this when you set up a custom game? Or are you and some friends in a matchmaking party and just not getting it in the playlist?... You should be able to choose it for custom games... Let me know if this helped...

You should reload the maps and maybe that will work. Delete all DL content and reload.

Mcnamara, I just poped the disc in and tried it myself and youre right that map has been removed from the 'Map list'... Im not sure why it is there.... that other map 'Bloc' is missing too...ya know the one with the open courtyard and statue in the middle, with the 2 story buildings on each side.... Those are two largest maps (so far) and there not available for split screen... Thats Fu#ked up!!! Ill see what I can dig up on Infinity wards webpage's for a possible explination.... The new kill cams are pretty sweet though.. ha ha

Mcnamara, It seems everyone is experiencing this same issue...And to my realization there are a lot of maps missing from the local playlist: Overgrown, Downpour, Pipeline, Bloc, Ambush, Strike, and District .... It seems everyone with Console versions only have 9 maps to choose from for custom games, However they say they can be chosen if you are using "system link" with another console... I hardly ever play custom games so I never noticed it.... WTF!!
