Fallout 3 DLC slips a month
With the first batch of Fallout 3 downloadable content now just over a week old, it appears that its siblings won't be arriving as planned. Bethesda Softworks has confirmed to GameSpot that the next two Xbox 360 and Games for Windows-exclusive updates for the award-winning role-playing game have been delayed by about a month.
"The next DLC for Fallout 3, The Pitt, will be out in March," Bethesda vice president of marketing Pete Hines said. "Broken Steel will be out the following month, in April."
The Pitt takes place in the raider city that has sprung up from the ruins of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Players will be forced to side with a faction in an unnamed conflict plaguing the town, details about which were not released.
[WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD]
Broken Steel has players join the benevolent, knightlike Brotherhood of Steel to track down the remnants of the nefarious patriotic pretenders known as The Enclave. It extends the main storyline beyond the climactic battle in the mission "Take It Back," after which the game currently ends.

Ships Ahoy - The Pitt
The Pitt is now available via Games for Windows LIVE as well as Xbox 360 (where problems have been reported). Here is word on this DLC for Fallout 3, Bethesda's RPG sequel: "The latest exclusive Marketplace download allows you to travel to the post-apocalyptic remains of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and become embroiled in a conflict between slaves and their Raider masters. Explore a sprawling settlement ravaged by time, neglect, nuclear radiation, and moral degradation. The Pitt is filled with morally grey choices, shady NPCs, new enemies, new weapons, and much more."

Fallout 3: The Pitt is now available (again)
The Pitt has returned to the service! If you purchased and downloaded The Pitt yesterday, you’ll need to delete that version from your storage device before you download the new version. Here is an official support document that outlines what you’ll need to do to to delete the old version, but the basic steps are as follows:
* Sign in to Xbox LIVE then press the guide button
* Go to Settings->System Settings->Memory.
* From here, scroll down to Fall Out 3 and press A.
* Select Fallout 3: The Pitt (Marketplace Content) press A then choose Delete, then Yes to Delete.
Now, you can go and re-download the new version for no charge and begin your adventure. Remember, any content you purchased (like The Pitt) can be re-downloaded at no charge.
Also, don’t delete anything that says ‘Autosave.’ That would be bad
Content: The Pitt
Price: 800 Microsoft Points
Availability: Not available in Japan
Dash Text: [ESRB: M (Mature) BLOOD AND GORE,INTENSE VIOLENCE,SEXUAL THEMES,STRONG LANGUAGE,USE OF DRUGS] Pittsburgh was once the industrial center of the pre-war world. The city was spared the horrors of nuclear fire, only to have its people infected by a nightmare plague of disease, infection, and mutation. Travel to the ruins of this industrial city, now called The Pitt, and discover a secret that could send shockwaves through the entire Wasteland. Battle vicious mutated Trogs, employ deadly new weapons like the AutoAxe and Infiltrator silenced assault rifle, and decide the fate of the infected slaves and slavers that call this city home. Only you can find the cure – but will you have the guts to use it? There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see http://www.xbox.com/live/accounts.
