PS3 and Xbox 360 version hit 143k and 108k respectively in first few days after launch.
Having only been on the market a few days in April, the newly-released Super Street Fighter IV managed respectable numbers across the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The PS3 version came out on top, sliding into the edge of April's Top 10 with 143,000 units sold. The Xbox 360 version followed up at #14 with 108,000.
Super Street Fighter IV functions mostly as an update to last year's Street Fighter IV, adding several new characters, modes and stages.
The PS3 version of SSFIV sits just ahead of Capcom's own Monster Hunter Tri, and just below Ubisoft's surprise hit Just Dance.
Having launched on April 27, we probably need another month to see how Super Street Fighter IV's sales pan out. For now though, it seems that Capcom is off to a decent start.
Update: User purplerain asked in the comments how these sales compare to regular Street Fighter IV. We don't have lifetime figures available, but in its first month Street Fighter IV sold a combined 849,000 units across its PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, over three times the sales of this upgrade.
