Captain Lou Albano dies at 76

American wrestler and entertainer Captain Lou Albano, known for his outrageous declarations and unruly hair, has died. He was 76.

The pro wrestler, who was part of the 1980s World Wrestling Federation sensation Wrestlemania, was at home under hospice care in New York before his death on Wednesday morning, reports MTV.

Albano made his wrestling debut in 1953. In the '80s he was part of a tag team with Tony Altimore and then later changed his image to that of manager, when he added the "Captain" part of his appellation. The tag teams he managed included the Masked Executioners, the Mongols, the Yukon Lumberjacks, the Moondogs and the Wild Samoans.

During this decade, he also teamed up with artist Cyndi Lauper. While she appeared on WWF programming, Albano played her dad in a few music videos.

Former WWE wrestler Umaga dies at 36

Eddie Fatu, the professional wrestler known as "Umaga", has died at the age of the 36, according to a report on World Wrestling Entertainment's Web site.

Fatu died of a heart attack at a Houston-area hospital, according to WrestlingObserver.com.

His most notable moment in pro wrestling was his involvement in WWE's Wrestlemania XXIII in 2007. He lost a match that resulted in Donald Trump shaving WWE owner's Vince McMahon's head.

Fatu's contract with WWE was terminated on June 11 after he refused to go to rehab after his second violation of the WWE's Wellness Program.

Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart Arrested

A former professional wrestler is being held in jail on drug and burglary charges.

A Hillsborough County Sheriff's arrest report says 55-year-old Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart was arrested Sunday for possession and trafficking in a controlled substance and burglary. Jail records show no bond had been set by Monday. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.

The arrest report says Neidhart was at a gas station yelling and causing a disturbance. He was seen "ingesting multiple pills" and Oxycontin pills and methadone prescribed to someone else was also found in his possession.

The sheriff's office says the person whose name was on the prescription pills had reported her home was burglarized and her medication stolen. Neidhart is believed to be a friend of the woman.

The Ultimate Warrior accuses Hulk Hogan of wife-swapping and cocaine use

What is this, 1994?

In a rant that seems out of the WWE’s golden years, wrestler The Ultimate Warrior released a YouTube video accusing his one-time rival Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, of being a cocaine-using, wife-swapping “dope head.”

“You’re a real piece of s___,” an angry, bald Warrior, AKA James Hellwig, directly addressed Hulk Hogan. “What kind of human being are you? The things that have real value mean nothing to you in your life.”

Calling him a “malicious, back-stabbing operator,” Warrior accused Hulk Hogan of having a “long-running reputation for being a liar, a fraud and a phony.”

As music swelled in the background, The Ultimate Warrior called out Hulk Hogan for his “open marriage.”

“You were both whores—neither one of you had a problem with getting thrills on the side,” accused The Warrior. “In fact Terry, you tried to get me to sample those thrills,” adding, “I bet I’m the only guy who said no to doing your wife.”

The steamed wrestler also claimed that Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda helped to break up the marriage of “Macho Man” Randy Savage and “Miss Elizabeth”—both of whom are now deceased.

The Ultimate Warrior also accused Hulk Hogan of “keeping other guys junkies” just so that he “could keep control over them.”

Warrior also dissed Hulk Hogan’s do-rag and hair extensions.

The main reason The Ultimate Warrior seems to be ticked off is a sit-down interview Hulk Hogan did recently, where he rehashed old rivalries.

The pair has had bad blood for years, starting with their rivalry in the WWF wrestling ring back in the late ‘80s.

Hulk Hogan is not taking the video attack from Warrior lying down, telling TMZ.com that he is planning on suing the wrestler for “spewing sewage.”

“None of that ever happened,” Hogan said of Warrior’s accusations of wife-swapping. “That guy is out of his mind.”
