WWE's Paul Bearer Dies - R.I.P.
As the Undertaker is making his annual return to the WWE just in time for Wrestlemania, the wrestling world mourns the loss of his long-time manager. William Moody, known to wrestling fans as Paul Bearer, passed away, the WWE announced. No cause of death was given.
Moody was also well known as “Percy Pringle,” was 59 years old. Moody was known for his ghostly white skin, and bringing an urn to the ring while managing The Undertaker and Kane. Wrestling legends took to Twitter to remember Moody.
Ted DiBiase said, “The wrestling world lost a good man today and I lost a good friend. Paul Bearer, rest in peace my friend.
Brian “Road Dogg” James said, “Today I pray for strength for the family of Paul Bearer or Percy. I pray they have precious memories! #talkingandrelaxing God bless you!”
Kofi Kingston said, “Very saddened to hear about the passing of Paul Bearer. What a good dude. Condolences to his family.”
Wade Barrett said, “RIP Paul Bearer. A legendary performer and a very nice chap.”
AJ Lee said, “#RIPPaulBearer When I first met Paul Bearer I completely marked out & and he was kind enough to humor me. So sweet & humble. Such a legend.”
Triple H said, “Rest in peace, Paul Bearer. You will never be forgotten. There will never be another.”
John Cena said, “I think most everyone in WWE has a great story about Paul Bearer. I have many, and I will always cherish them. #RIPPaulBearer.”
The WWE will induct members into its Hall Of Fame in April, the night before Wrestlemania. Many are speculating that Moody could be a late addition to the inductions. Mick Foley, Bob Backlund, Trish Stratus, Bruno Sammartino and Donald Trump are all scheduled to be inducted.

WrestleMania 29 Report
http://fightnetwork.com/news/37622:wres ... 29-report/
Match #1: Sheamus, Randy Orton and The Big Show vs. The Shield
Orton, Big Show and Sheamus seem united thus far. Reigns finds himself in the face corner in the early going. Reigns finally lands a low dropkick to Sheamus, but the advantage doesn't last long. Ambrose has several flies swatted off his chest by Show, but comes back with a low dropkick which drops the big man. Rollins attacks next with a flying boot to the face. Show delivers a belly-to-back suplex to Reigns and then hits a back body drop to Rollins from a kneeling position. Sheamus positions Rollins on the apron and beats Rollins' chest against the ropes. He then does the same to Ambrose, before piling Rollins and Ambrose on top of each other with a pair of steamrollers. A brawl breaks out on the floor, with Rollins flying through the ropes with a tope, doing more damage to himself in the process. There's a great spot where The Shield loads up Sheamus for their triple powerbomb, but Big Show takes them down like bowling pins with a spear. Orton makes a hot tag, which Big Show actually wanted, but Orton beats him to it and gets booed. He hits the draping DDT on Ambrose. Rollins tries a flying attack, but Orton cuts him off with an RKO in midair. Orton then gets speared by Reigns and pinned by Ambrose, as Big Show looks on without lifting a finger to stop the pin.
Winners: The Shield by pinfall
After the match, Orton and Big Show argue. Show turns around and knocks Sheamus out with the WMD, and then does the same to Orton.
Up next is a video package to hype up the Cena versus Rock match.
Snooki is spotted at WrestleMania with her boyfriend Gianni. That'll put some butts in the seats.
Match #2: Mark Henry vs. Ryback
Ryback has a lot on his plate tonight. There are mild chants of 'Goldberg' right out of the gate. Ryback is getting booed. The crowd finally cheers, as Henry runs Ryback down with a huge avalanche. Henry then plants him with a powerslam for one. There are now chants of 'Sexual Chocolate.' Henry drapes Ryback across the top rope with a reverse suplex. Henry applies a bearhug and words cannot describe how boring this is. Ryback finally gets something going, as he drops Henry with a meathook clothesline. Ryback then actually gets Henry up for Shellshocked, which I never thought he would be able to do, but Henry uses the ropes for leverage, which cause Ryback to fall on his face with Henry on top of him. Henry then rolls over and pins Ryback clean.
Winner: Mark Henry by pinfall
After the match, Henry goes to attack Ryback again, but Ryback fights back and finally delivers Shellshocked.
JBL and Jerry Lawler then spend the next couple of minutes playing with their WWE Powerslammers at the announce table.
The WWE officially announces a partnership with the Special Olympics.
Match #3: Dolph Ziggler and Big E. Langston vs. Team Hell No for the WWE Tag Team Championships
Ziggler and Bryann kick things off, and just to rub it in, Ziggler calls AJ on the apron for a kiss. As Ziggler turns around, Bryan drops him with a roundhouse kick, and they tease the same thing that happened last year, as Bryan goes for a pin, but Ziggler does escape at two. Ziggler then retreats to the floor, and Bryan meets him out there with a tope. The two big men tag in and Big E. gets the early advantage with a backbreaker. He then runs through Kane with an avalanche ala Mark Henry from earlier in the night. Kane takes down Langston with a running DDT. Kane hits a sidewalk slam to Ziggler for two. Ziggler barely delivers a famouser for two. On the outside, Bryan delivers a running knee off the apron to Langston. This distracts Kane, who gets dropped with a zig zag, which only gets Ziggler two. As AJ distracts the ref, Ziggler tries to use the briefcase as a weapon, but Kane catches him and plants him with the chokeslam from hell. Bryan follows up with a flying headbutt off the top rope for the win.
Winners: Team Hell No by pinfall
Match #4: Fandango vs. Chris Jericho
They've certainly spared no expense for Fandango's entrance. There are plenty of dancing girls being used. Jericho makes googly eyes at Fandango's dance partner as he walks by. Jericho dominates the early stages of the match as he drapes Fandango on the top rope with a reverse suplex and then hits the codebreaker, but Fandango rolls to the floor. Jericho gets tremendous height on a flying crossbody on the floor. Jericho tries the springboard dropkick, as Fandango tries to get in the ring, but Fandango beats him to the punch, or the kick rather, with a jumping front kick of his own. Jericho has a cut on his forehead, which I believe was from the kick. Jericho hits a step-up enzugiri. Jericho follows up with a crossbody off the top rope for two. Fandango fires back and sends Jericho shoulder-first into the ring post. Fandango follows up with that top rope guillotine legdrop, which only gets him two. Jericho gets the crowd into it, as he attempts a superplex. He ends up getting shoved off the buckle. Fandango then misses the top rope guillotine legdrop. Jericho tries the lionsault, but misses completely and looks like he tweaked his knee on the landing. Jericho tries to rebound with the Walls of Jericho, but Fandango capitalizes on Jericho's weakened knee and counters into an inside cradle for the win.
Winner: Fandango by pinfall
The announcers then show highlights from the YouTube pre-show, where The Miz won the Intercontinental Championship from Wade Barrett with the figure-four leglock. I repeat, the INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP changed hands on the PRE-SHOW.
Up next is another video to hype up Rock versus Cena.
Next is an elaborate video to introduce P. Diddy, who performs. There is not a person standing up, which pretty much summarizes how good this is.
Match #5: Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship
Colter and Swagger do not get an entrance for this match, but Colter cuts a promo, once again spreading propaganda about the foreigners trying to steal their land. Del Rio hits a slidethrough dropkick to Swagger on the outside. Colter provides a distraction, which allows Swagger to yank Del Rio off the top rope. Swagger tries to cherry Del Rio against the ring post, but Del Rio uses his feet to pull Swagger shoulder-first into the post. Del Rio then delirs a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and then stomps on Colter's hand, as he has it on the ring apron. Swagger blocks a cross armbreaker attempt and then counters into a scoop powerslam for two. Swagger then applies the Patriot lock, which Del Rio fights out of. Del Rio then crotches Swagger on the middle buckle, with Swagger's back facing Del Rio. Del Rio delivers a backstabber out of the corner for two. He follows that up with a release German suplex. Swagger comes back with a gutwrench powerbomb for two. He then applies the Patriot lock again. Del Rio drops down and somehow counters into the cross armbreaker. Swagger then recounters back into the Patriot lock, but Del Rio reaches the ropes. Swagger utilizes every second of the five count, before trying another gutwrench powerbomb. Del Rio avoids it and hits a roundhouse kick. He follows up with a running enzugiri in the corner. Del Rio goes for the pin, but Colter places Swagger's foot on the bottom rope for the break. This leads to an argument between Colter and Ricardo on the floor. Colter kicks Ricardo's crutch out from under him. Del Rio then goes to the floor and threatens Colter, but gets attacked by Swagger on the outside. Swagger sends Del Rio back into the ring, but as he follows him in, Del Rio surprises him with the cross armbreaker and finally gets the tap out.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio by submission
Match #6: CM Punk vs. The Undertaker
Living Color performs Punk to the ring. Taker has an awesome entrance, with all these silhouette hands reaching up to him, as he walks by. Punk opens things up with a slap. He then blocks a chokeslam attempt with a roundhouse kick. Taker fights back with rights and lefts. There are loud chants for both guys at this point, as Taker clears the Spanish announce table, but doesn't have an opportunity to use it just yet. Instead, Taker delivers a legdrop from the apron, with Punk on his back, with his neck under the bottom rope. Taker goes for Old School, but Punk counters and arm drags him off the top rope. Punk then goes for his own version of Old School and connects, which earns him the loudest boos of the night. Taker tries a running boot in the corner, but Punk avoids it, and Taker's foot connects with the buckle, and may have tweaked his knee in the process. Punk then flies off the top rope with a double axehandle on the outside. Taker tries fighting back with a few right hands, but Punk counters his last one into a swinging neckbreaker for two. Punk goes for Old School again, only to get crotched on the top rope this time. Taker then gets set to fly over the top rope with a tope, only to have Paul Heyman jump on the apron to block the attempt. Taker grabs Heyman around the throat, but gets caught with a springboard clothesline from Punk. Punk follows up with a Randy Savage flying elbow drop for two. He then tries the GTS, but Taker blocks it and delivers a chokeslam for two. Taker delivers snake eyes, but as he tries to follow up with a running boot, Punk catches him on the chin with a jumping calf kick. Taker fights back and tries to deliver the Last Ride through the announce table, but Punk avoids it and catches Taker with another kick. With Taker set up on the announce table, Punk delivers the flying elbow drop off the top, but the table doesn't break (ouch). The referee gets to a count of nine, as Taker finally crawls into the ring. As Punk tries to pick the bones of Taker, Taker locks on Hell's Gate (gogoplata), but Punk counters with a jackknife cover for two. Punk then applies the Anaconda Vice. Taker is weakened to the point that his back is on the canvas. The Ref counts to two, but then Taker sits up like he normally does, which provides a great visual, where Punk and Taker are literally nose to nose, with the Vice still applied. Taker fights out and tries a chokeslam. Punk blocks it and hits the GTS. Taker ends up bouncing off the ropes and then rebounds with a Tombstone, but only gets two. As Taker tries another chokeslam, Punk's arm flies into the ref's face. With the ref still down, Punk hits the running high knee in the corner, but gets caught, with Taker going for the Last Ride again. Punk grabs the urn from Heyman and nails Taker. He then pins him with Taker's arms crossed, but Taker kicks out. Punk then tries the GTS again, but Taker fights out and tries a Tombstone. Punk counters that and goes for the GTS yet again, only for Taker to counter once again and finally hit the Tombstone for the victory.
Winner: The Undertaker by pinfall
Next is one more video to hype the Rock and Cena match tonight (something tells me it won't be the last one). This one is focused on Cena.
Match #7: Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H in a No Holds Barred match with Triple H's career on the line
Shawn Michaels is in Triple H's corner and looks to have aged quite a bit. Triple H comes out of what looks like a haunted house and there is some weird glow in the dark substance on his belly. The fight spills to the outside almost immediately, with Triple H sending Lesnar into the barricade. Lesnar then sends Triple H over the barricade, and as he tries to follow him over with a steel chair, The Game clotheslines Lesnar right back over, and Lesnar takes a bad spill on the back of his head. Back in the ring, Triple H blocks Lesnar's next attempt to use the chair with a running high knee. Lesnar finally fights back on the floor with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the outside. Lesnar then suplexes Triple H through the Spanish announce table. Lesnar then delivers another overhead belly-to-belly suplex into the remnants of the table. Lesnar delivers a third overhead belly-to-belly suplex in the ring for two. He follows up with a release German suplex for two. Lesnar tries to intimidate Michaels on the floor, but ends up being clotheslined over the barricade and into the time keeper's area by Triple H. Triple H then whacks away with a chair at the back of Lesnar. In the ring, Lesnar delivers a bridging German suplex for two. Heyman and Michaels both get up on the apron, but Lesnar elbows Michaels off. This distraction allows Triple H to come back with a spinebuster. Michaels then comes in and tries Sweet Chin Music, but Lesnar catches the foot and pulls Michaels in for an F-5. Lesnar then tries going after Triple H, but The Game just barely delivers a pedigree (almost botched) for two. Lesnar comes back with an F-5, but also gets two. Lesnar gets his turn with the chair on the outside. He then drills Hunter in the face with the steel steps. Lesnar then picks up the biggers steps and hits Triple H in the face in the ring. Lesnar tries to talk Triple H down, but The Game slaps the taste out of his mouth. Lesnar then applies a kimura from a standing position. Lesnar the perches himself on the top rope to apply more pressure. Triple H finally breaks out with a spinebuster. Lesnar is then sent shoulder-first into the post. Triple H follows up with a low blow. Triple H then swings a steel chair against Brock's arm, as it's against the ring post. The Game hits him again with the chair to the arm on the steel steps. Triple H then applies his own kimura. Lesnar stays in this move for the longest time, before finally asking Heyman for help. Heyman climbs into the ring with the chair, only to eat some Sweet Chin Music from Michaels. Triple H then goes back to the kimura and has it applies for even longer (there was some great drama here and Lesnar did a great job of selling). He eventually powers out after multiple spinebusters on the steel steps. But on the third one, Triple H DDT's Lesnar on the steps. He follows that up with a sledgehammer to the head and then a pedigree on the steel steps for the win.
Winner: Triple H by pinfall
Up next is the trailer for The Rock's new movie Pain and Gain, as well as a promo for Extreme Rules on May 19.
The Hall of Fame inductees are brought out next. Trump gets booed out of the building. Sammartino I believe gets the loudest pop.
New Orleans is announced as the host of WrestleMania 30.
Match #8: The Rock vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship
Cena scores the first knock-down with a running shoulder block, but Rock fires back with a hiptoss, and Cena regroups on the floor. Cena delivers a belly-to-belly suplex for two. Rock answers back by applying a sleeper hold, which would perfectly describe the crowd for this match. There are 'Boring' chants. Rock delivers a Samoan drop, and I think I just heard a pin drop as well. Cena fires back with a fisherman's buster for two. The Rock goes for a spinebuster, which Cena tries to counter into the STF, but is unsuccessful. Cena then tries for the five moves of doom, but Rock takes him down and applies a sharpshooter, which finally brings the crowd to life. Cena tries the five knuckle shuffle, but gets drilled with a DDT. Rock tries for the Rock Bottom, but Cena counters into what I think was supposed to be a crossface. Rock delivers a spinebuster, but before he throws an elbow pad, Cena pulls him into an STF. Rock breaks free and hits the Rock Bottom for two. Cena comes back with an AA for two. Cena then misses the top rope guillotine legdrop to the back of Rock's neck. Rock takes advantage and hits the spinebuster, followed by the People's Elbow, which only gets two. Rock tries a crossbody, but Cena catches him and goes for an AA, which Rock counters into another Rock Bottom for two. They then tease the opposite finish from last year, where Rock sets up for the People's Elbow, but before delivering the move, he gives Cena the 'You can't see me' taunt. This ends up costing Rock, as he runs right into an AA, but Cena only gets two. They trade counters back and forth. As Rock tries for another Rock Bottom, Cena counters into his own Rock Bottom, but only gets two. Cena then sets up for his own People's Elbow just like last year, but this time as The Rock sets up the Rock Bottom, Cena holds onto the ropes. Cena then ducks a clothesline and tries an AA, but he kills too much time, which allows Rock to hit the Rock bottom anyway, but he only gets two. Rock and Cena again trade counters back and forth, with Rock finally ending the sequence with a DDT. Rock then sets up for another Rock Bottom, which Cena counters into an AA for the win.
Winner: John Cena by pinfall
After, Cena and Rock exchange words and then shake hands. Cena then leaves and allows The Rock to have his moment in the ring (that makes sense for the loser of the match to get the spotlight, right?)

Wrestling legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts confirmed he has a cancerous tumor growing behind his knee, but he said he won’t let the illness slow him down.

“If the devil can't defeat me, cancer doesn't stand a chance in hell!” he said. “Pray for sick children who face this horrible disease 'cause The Snake will be just fine."
But, he won’t be out for long. He’s slated to appear at the Jersey Championship Wrestling on March 14. He’ll also be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in New Orleans later this year.
