During a Howard Stern interview with the Iron Shiek months back, The Iron Shiek was trying to talk S#!t about Hulk Hogan when Bubba The Love Sponge (a long time friend of Hulk Hogan) jumped in the conversation to defend Hulk Hogan. During the argument Bubba had hinted a few times that Hulk may be considering a come back.

I hope you post the interview, sound like it would be riveting!

Chris Jericho at RAW?

Postby keithlewis » Fri Sep 28, 2007 2:44 pm

Source - PWInsider

Chris Jericho has announced that he will be in New York City on October 20th for the shooting of VH-1's "I love the 60s." As luck would have it, RAW is in Philadelphia that night, which is a short ride from the city. So if Jericho has indeed signed a deal with WWE, he could easily show up on RAW that night.

Hulk Hogan to host NBC's American Gladiator!!

Postby NWOWolfpack » Wed Oct 03, 2007 7:51 pm

As NBC's "American Gladiators" remake begins to take shape, the network is turning to elsewhere in the world of "sports entertainment" for the show's host. Pro-wrestling legend and VH1 reality star Hulk Hogan is on board to serve as the show's host. Though the deal is still being finalized, TV Week reports that both NBC and the Hulkster (real name: Terry Bollea) are gung-ho about the series, which is likely to find a midseason berth on the network. As with the original series, which aired in syndication for much of the 1990s, the new "American Gladiators" will feature amateur athletes facing off in a series of combative challenges against a group of professional "gladiators." The show is a pet project of NBC co-chairman Ben Silverman, who was developing a version of the show at his company, Reveille, before taking his new job. Reveille remains involved with the project. NBC is currently casting both regular folks and the rotating cast of warriors; there's no word on whether any of the original gladiators will appear on the new show. In addition to his 20-plus years as a professional wrestling star, Hogan has appeared in such movies as "Rocky III," "Mr. Nanny" and "Suburban Commando." He and his family are the subjects of the VH1 series "Hogan Knows Best," and he starred in the syndicated show "Thunder in Paradise" in the early 1990s.

Awesome!!!! :D

Breaking News: John Cena Out 6-8 Months

Postby NWOWolfpack » Wed Oct 03, 2007 7:53 pm

The following is from http://www.WWE.com.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and is heading into surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title.

Dr. Andrews said Cena could miss between six and eight months of action. Cena was injured during his match Monday night on Raw with Mr. Kennedy. Before visiting Dr. Andrews, Cena had said, “No matter how serious, the injury, one way or another I’ll be ready to compete on Sunday.”

But despite Cena’s vow, WWE officials will not allow him to compete at No Mercy. Therefore, he must surrender the WWE Championship.

WWE officials vow that there will be a WWE Championship Match this Sunday at No Mercy and a new WWE Champion will be crowned.

Stay with WWE.com for further updates on Cena’s condition and on No Mercy as they become available.

The Outsiders & X-Pac Returning To TNA?

Postby NWOWolfpack » Thu Oct 11, 2007 11:18 pm

Kevin Nash's contract with TNA Wrestling has expired. He was last seen on TNA television as Kurt Angle's therapist. Both Nash and TNA are in the process of negotiating a new deal. Vince Russo want Nash to return to the ring. Nash is healthy and open to wrestling again, but he told TNA he'll need a more lucrative contract if they want him to wrestle. Nash has suggested TNA bring in Scott Hall and Sean Waltman.

Speaking of Hall and Nash, they reunited last week at an indy show in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Outsiders defeated the team of Brian Christopher and Koko B. Ware. Scott Hall has dropped a lot of weight and is said to be doing well.
