By popular demand, we've extended the chance to win tickets and passes to all the European shows*! If you have a copy of "Death Magnetic," you can enter to win tickets and backstage passes to the remaining shows on the European tour. It's pretty easy, go to https://www.pushentertainment.com/184, fill out the info, and put your copy of "Death Magnetic" in your computer (Mac or PC) before you hit enter. The catch here is that you must have purchased your CD in the country you would like to win for and you can only enter for one show. OTTAWA SHOW DATE RESCHEDULED

For all of our friends with tickets to the sold out show in Ottawa on October 29, we hope that date is on your calendar in pencil! We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but that show has changed dates and we will now be at Scotiabank Place five days later on November 3. Of course your tickets will be good then, and if you cannot join us on the new date, you may return your tickets to the place you purchased them for a full refund. And for your trouble, everyone who attends the show on November 3 will receive a voucher for a free MP3 download of the show that can be redeemed at www.livemetallica.com.

We're happy to report that it has nothing to do with oysters, but can only tell you right now that the date change is due to a scheduling conflict with a very cool event coming up around that time. We wanted to let you know about the new date in Ottawa ASAP, but we've been sworn to secrecy on all other fronts, so keep checking www.metallica.com. . . more details in mid to late July.

While we are still enjoying our European summer vacation, a quick note here about the Fall shows in North America. Our French friends Gojira will be joining us, along with Lamb of God, for shows September 14 - October 18, while Lars' brethren from Denmark Volbeat will hanging for the shows October 26 - December 12. One other quick thing - unfortunately Lamb of God cannot continue on with us in December, so we'll have more news about those shows for you later. See you out there!
