Yes that’s right folks I am going to be riding 20 miles on my bike with Fat Tony and a whole grip of other people, in the Los Angeles Bike Tour. All for a cause, what that cause is you may ask? It’s a Charity known as Athlete recovery fund or (ARF) for short.
The mission statement:To provide professional athletes in BMX, FMX and Skate Boarding with financial support after a severe injury and granting funds for rehabilitation, equipment, long-term disability and educational scholarships.
On May 25th the ARF is teaming up with the Los Angeles Marathon and getting people to rides bikes for charity. Each rider that will be pedaling the 20 miles is asking for pledges and donations for the charity group. So here's where I am asking you for money, and your help!
I'll be riding my BMX bike the entire distance starting at 5:00am to support the cause. If you would like to pledge a donation, just write back and let me know how much you want to give. I'll keep track of everything and report it to ARF. Then after the event, you will be reminded to post your donations to the ARF, Pay Pal account via credit/debit card online. What ever your preferred method is.
If you want to make a private donation, that's fine too...just go to athleterecoveryfund.com, click on the big red "Make A Donation" button at the top of the page, cant miss it. It’s a little shiny and calls your name too. Pretty fancy if you ask me.
