The Rock: Recent Appearance

The Rock made a special guest appearance on Friday Night’s NFL Access on the NFL network. He was on the program to plug the release of Disney’s “The Game Plan” on 9/28. The Rock said the movie is a “big comedy.” He said it was shot in Boston, and in the film, he plays a Super Bowl MVP quarterback. The Rock said he ruptured his Achilles shooting the movie. The Rock’s appearance on the NFL network marked the third straight year he made predictions for weekend NFL football games. For the record, The Rock predicted that the Colts, the Packers, the Eagles, the Buccaneers, the Patriots, the Cardinals, the Ravens, the 49ers, the Steelers, and the Broncos would win this weekend.
Sounds like a decent movie!!

On Thursday night's iMPACT!, Jim Cornette said there will be a Knockouts Gauntlet Match at Bound for Glory in which ten women will go at it to determine the first TNA Women's World Champion. Cornette said the match will feature "five girls you know and five girls you don't know." The five women confirmed to compete in the match are Christy Hemme, Gail Kim, Ms. Brooks, Jackie Moore and Roxxy Laveaux. We don't have any names yet regarding the five mystery women, but they will likely be composed of girls from the all-women's indy promotion SHIMMER for the most part. There is also a good chance that some of the mystery women will turn out to be former WWE Divas. TNA has shown interest in the past in Shelly "Ariel" Martinez and Nidia, but as valets and not wrestlers, so you can probably cross them out.(wrestlingexposed.com)
