Cage Warriors Links Up with Tickets For Troops

CAGE Warriors Fighting Championship has linked up with Tickets For Troops by agreeing to provide the scheme with a donation of complimentary tickets to all CWFC shows in the United Kingdom.

Established in 2009, Tickets For Troops is a service that gives members of the British Armed Forces – and those medically discharged since 2001 – the opportunity to enjoy live events throughout the UK free of charge.

Troops have subsequently been able to attend a wide range of events including England football internationals, Premier League fixtures, concerts, theatre shows and more.

Tickets For Troops is aimed at boosting morale among the Armed Forces, as well as showing appreciation for the sacrifices they make. Over 300,000 tickets have been donated over the last four years, giving troops access to some of the most high-profile events in the UK.

Starting with Cage Warriors 53 in Glasgow a week on Saturday, members of the Armed Forces will have the chance to attend all CWFC events in the UK following Cage Warriors' decision to donate tickets to this worthy cause.

"We're delighted that Cage Warriors have decided to support Tickets For Troops with this fantastic donation," said Ross Barden, Operations Director for Tickets For Troops.

"This will give servicemen and women the opportunity to enjoy an evening of mixed martial arts, a sport that is particularly popular within the Armed Forces. I have no doubt that the boys and girls will have a fantastic evening away from the stresses of their challenging work."

Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan added: "It's nice to be in a position to be able to make a small contribution to an excellent initiative like Tickets For Troops, especially as we always get a lot of members of the Armed Forces attending our events.

"I know that there are a lot of Cage Warriors fans within the Armed Forces, so we're donating a pretty substantial number of tickets to them for each event we have in the UK. We're delighted to be involved."
