Zombie Action Film 'Daylights End' Stars Anderson Silva


Toronto – Canadian based Production Company, Oriahsphere Entertainment has teamed with U.S. based production company, Throttle Films, to produce "Daylights End", a zombie action thriller.

“Daylights End” stars Johnny Strong (The Fast and the Furious) and Krzysztof Soszynski (Here Comes the Boom). It also marks the most prominent role in a feature film for UFC champion and star, Anderson Silva. Oriahsphere principal Michael Bien states, “We are thrilled to launch a slate based around the talents and charisma of MMA fighters. Their fans have been wanting this for a long time, and Silva will deliver”. Oriahsphere plans to announce a full slate of films starring MMA Fighters in the near future. Alex Lebovici of Oriahsphere notes, “These projects are being built to showcase the talents and abilities of these MMA fighters and give the fans of the sport what they are looking for.”

"Daylights End" is the brainchild of writer Chad Law (writer of the upcoming Hard Drive starring John Cusack and Thomas Jane), and will be brought to life by director William Kaufman (Sinners and Saints). Jay Stamper of Throttle explains, "having two established and on the rise talents like Chad Law and William Kaufman gives this project the chance to take our audience on a unique and thrilling ride".

Principle photography begins in Dallas, Texas in summer 2013. Immediately following the upcoming bout between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman.
