Official Press Release For Randleman vs. Monson On June 21

World-Class Mixed Martial Arts Event Coming to Charlotte's Time Warner
Cable Arena for the First Time Ever

Former UFC heavyweight champion to return to MMA in much-anticipated
fight

Charlotte, N.C., April 16, 2008 -- Forget Vegas baby. For one night
this summer, Charlotte, N.C., will be the center of the championship
mixed martial arts (MMA) world when it hosts the most prestigious MMA
competition ever on the East Coast. The event, already building buzz amongst MMA enthusiasts, takes place June 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena, formerly known as Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

Global Fighting LLC, the organization bringing MMA to the Queen City
for the first time ever, signed two of the sport's most recognizable
stars to headline the event. Former UFC heavyweight champion Kevin "The Monster" Randleman will battle UFC heavyweight contender and grappling circuit standout Jeff "The Snowman" Monson in the evening's main fight.
MMA athletes combine a variety of fighting styles, such as boxing, judo,
jiu-jitsu, karate, kickboxing, Muy Thai, taekwondo and/or wrestling,
in each fight.

"We are extremely excited to bring the highest level of mixed martial
arts to a world-class city like Charlotte," said Albert Moore, Chief
Operating Officer, Global Fighting. "From the arena to the fighters,
everything about the event on June 21 will exude first class, especially the
main showdown between Randleman and Monson. This much anticipated
fight should have happened long ago and we're glad we can bring it to the
great MMA fans in the southeast."

In addition to Randleman and Monson, the night will feature proven MMA
fighters Murilo Bustamante, Josh Haynes, Sergio Moraes, Chris
Clodfelter, Milton Vieira, Lynn Alvarez and Phil Cardella. Additional fighters
will be added and announced in the coming weeks. Fight card subject to
change.

The Main Event: Randleman v. Monson
Kevin "The Monster" Randleman, 5'10", 205 lbs, started his fighting
career back in high school where he won a state wrestling championship. He attended Ohio State University where he was a three-time All American, three-time Big Ten Champion and two-time NCAA National Champion.

Professionally, Randleman captured the UFC Heavyweight Champion Belt at UFC 23. He possesses great fighting skills in his stand-up game, but
also has incredible take-down technique where he loves to ground and
pound. Randleman owns a professional MMA record of 16-11.

Jeff "The Snowman" Monson is one of the world's top submission
grapplers and is coming into his own at the highest level of MMA. At 5' 9" and 240 pounds of solid muscle, Monson is taking MMA on both sides of the ocean by storm.

One of the most recognized MMA athletes in the United States, Monson is
a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a powerhouse in submission
grappling. In both 1999 and 2005 he won the prestigious Abu Dhabi
Submission Grappling World Tournament in the Heavyweight Division. He is a multiple event winner at NAGA, Grappler's Quest, and the Budweiser
Invitational, where he continues to compete. Monson is ready to issue a
challenge to or accept a challenge from any fighter in the world.
